What is Game Keeper: Somebody Messed Up My Shop!?

A single-player first-person organizing game. You wake up in a video game store at night, your coworker Jeff the cat has knocked every case off the shelves, and you put all 4,290 cases back by genre and disk number across 96 racks before your shift can end.

When does it come out and how much is it?

October 2, 2026 on Steam for Windows. In the developers' devlog the price is 29.99 zł with 10% off for launch week; the US dollar price only appears on the store once the game goes live, and this site will add it then.

Who made Game Keeper?

VeinStudios, a two-person team: Polish streamer Tamae (design, visuals, UI) and his video editor Zaaif (Unreal Engine blueprints and code). They built it in a little over a month, partly live on stream.

Does Game Keeper use AI-generated art?

Yes, partly. The Steam disclosure says AI helped with selected textures, sounds, localization and small bits of code; the devlog explains it was mainly for the roughly 650 parody box covers. The developers say the concept, art direction and design were made by people.

How many achievements are there?

15, according to the developers. Most are relaxed, a few are jokes, and one is a speedrun: finish the whole store under a set time. The end screen shows how long your shift took.

How long does it take to beat?

No measured completion times exist yet. The developers pitch it as a cozy game for an evening of shelving, and the speedrun achievement implies a much faster route exists once you have the abilities.

Is it on PS5, Xbox, Switch or Mac?

No. It is a Windows-only Steam game at launch, with no console or Mac version announced.

Can I play with a controller?

The Steam requirements say keyboard and mouse are required, and no gamepad support has been announced.

Is the game available in Polish?

Yes. The store lists 28 languages with interface and subtitles, including Polish, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Korean and both Chinese variants.

Is there multiplayer or co-op?

No. It is single-player only.

What games is it similar to?

It belongs to the same collectathon sorting family as Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library! and Cellar Keeper, both of which the developer names as inspiration. Game Keeper is the biggest of the three by item count and adds a skill tree and a slot machine.
