Game Keeper: Somebody Messed Up My Shop! Parody Games List

According to the developers, practically every game in the shop is a reference to something that exists: a homage or a jab. The boxes all carry the logo of a made-up console, the SlayStation 6, and the whole shop is partly a joke about the end of physical game releases.

Parody game cases on the floor: Drunk Souls 7, Pillows of Eternity 6, Isolated Aliens 4, Shallow Night 9

Confirmed parody titles

These come from the official screenshots and from the developers’ own devlog. “Genre label” is only filled in where the HUD label is visible; for the rest, read the bracket in game before shelving.

The “real game” column for titles the developers did not name is our reading of the pun and the cover art.

Jokes outside the boxes

  • Posters. The shop walls carry parody posters. One near the counter reads “Buy 5 games, get 1 goth girl free”; the developers mention another that pokes fun at a famous Japanese director.
  • SlayStation 6. Every case uses this console brand, not a real one.
  • The trailer voice. The voicemail from your boss at the start of the trailer (“I want to see this place spotless… Ciao”) is, according to fans in the comments, Tamae doing a voice.

Why the covers look the way they do

There are around 650 series and over 4,000 individual covers. The developers say they could not afford to commission that many illustrations and did not want to lean on unpaid fan art, so the covers were made with AI image generation from about 650 prompts, then hand-edited into the right format with disk numbers from 1 to 3, 5 or 9. The Steam AI disclosure confirms AI was used for selected textures. If that matters to you, see is it worth buying.

Help fill the list

The full catalogue only becomes visible as players work through the shop. New titles will be added here with their genre label and disk count once they are confirmed in launch footage. Shelving advice for all of them is the same: ignore what the cover reminds you of and follow the genre in brackets, as explained in the genres list.

Did this get a few more cases shelved?
