Game Keeper: Somebody Messed Up My Shop! Achievements
Before launch, a player opened a thread on the Steam forum asking why the store page did not mention achievements at all. The line has since appeared, and the developers had already given the number in their devlog: 15 achievements.
What is confirmed
| Fact | Detail | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Count | 15 Steam achievements | Devlog, September 20, 2026 |
| Tone | ”Most are rather chill, some are funny” | Devlog |
| Hardest one | A speedrun: finish the game under a set time | Devlog |
| Timer | The ending shows how long your shift took when you run out of the store | Devlog |
| Challenges | The store page also lists “an achievement and challenge system” | Steam store |
The full list with names, descriptions and global unlock rates is not public yet; Steam only exposes it once the game is out. This page will carry the full table as soon as it is.
The speedrun achievement
This is the one that decides a 100% run. The time limit has not been published, but the design of the game tells you what matters:
- Do it on a second run. Your first run teaches you the store layout and where each genre rack is. That knowledge is worth more than any upgrade.
- Rush movement upgrades and series pickup. On the skill tree, walking speed and grabbing a whole series at once cut the most time.
- Grab plushies you know the location of. Extra hand slots mean fewer trips.
- Use the slot machine. A spin that auto-arranges a shelf is a whole rack you skip; see Jeff’s slot machine.
- Work by floor, not by genre. On a timed run, clearing everything near you beats walking across the store for one rack.
Whether pausing stops the shift timer is not known yet. It matters for anyone who plans to stop halfway, so it will be noted here as soon as someone tests it.
How long is a full run?
There are no measured completion times yet. The developers describe the game as something you play through over “one pleasant evening”, which is a rough guide for a relaxed first run with 4,290 cases. The speedrun achievement exists because a run with everything unlocked and a known layout is much faster than that.

The screenshot above shows a save about halfway through: 2,008 of 4,290 cases and 296 of 650 series done. Series lag behind cases because a series only counts when its last disk is in place.
Thanks. Jeff approves, probably.
